Customize “User Divisions” names for easier estimating by renaming the “User Divisions” (Divisions 26 - 30) based on the type of user line items you put in these divisions. This will allow for easier recall of your line items, and also provide greater organization of your CostBooks.
To rename your user division titles from the CostBook Grid, complete the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the “COSTBOOKS” menu item from the vertical menu (if it is not already highlighted). By default, this is automatically displayed as you enter the CostBook Grid from the Estimate Grid.
Step 2: Click on “RENAME USER DIVISIONS” from the vertical menu to display the “Division Maintenance” window.
Step 3: Double-click on the “USER DIVISION” TITLE you want to change. Alternately, you can SINGLE-CLICK to select the cell and then SPACE to access the cell. Type the name of the new user division title.
Step 4: Choose EXIT to save any changes and exit the “Division Maintenance” window.

- You can only rename the User Division titles (Divisions 26-30). Divisions 1-25, 98 and 99 are HomeTech divisions and can not be renamed.
- Use titles that are logical to you based on the type of line items you add to these divisions.
- You can return to the “Division Maintenance” window at any time to edit titles you have previously changed.
