CUSTOMIZE YOUR ESTIMATE COVER PAGE

Would you like to customize your estimates to reflect your business name and contact information? Now you can! Customize the cover page for all of your future estimates or for just one estimate by simply modifying the HomeTech ADVANTAGE "default" or "estimate" Cover Page and saving your modifications for future use!

There are two areas in the software where you can modify cover pages:

"Default" Cover Page
The "default" cover page applies to all future estimates you create. Modifying your "default" cover page saves time from having to modify each individual estimate cover page. Modifying the "default" cover page does not affect the cover pages of existing estimates that have already been created.

Estimate Cover Page
Modify your estimate cover page if you want the changes to apply only to the open estimate. Modifying a specific estimate cover page does not affect the "default" cover page.

Modifying the "Default" Cover Page for All Future Estimates
To access and modify your “default” cover page, complete the following 7 steps:

Step 1: CLOSE any open estimates (if applicable), and return to the Estimate Grid window.

Step 2: Choose the EDIT pull-down menu.

Step 3: Choose EDIT CLIENT INFORMATION.

Step 4: Choose the COVER PAGE TAB.

Step 5: Make the necessary changes to your “default” cover page.

Step 6: Choose the CLIENT INFORMATION TAB when finished.

Step 7: Choose OK to save any changes. Choose CANCEL to exit without saving.

Modifying the Estimate Cover Page for Your Current Estimate Only
To access and modify your estimate cover page, complete the following 7 steps:

Step 1: OPEN the estimate that you want to modify the cover page.

Step 2: Choose the EDIT pull-down menu.

Step 3: Choose EDIT CLIENT INFORMATION.

Step 4: Choose the COVER PAGE TAB.

Step 5: Make the necessary changes to your estimate cover page.

Step 6: Choose the CLIENT INFORMATION TAB when finished.

Step 7: Choose OK to save any changes. Choose CANCEL to exit without saving.

 

More Tips Save time by customizing your "default" cover page. This way you will not have to modify each individual estimate cover page. Remember, you can customize your cover pages by adding or deleting text, merge fields, and many graphics files (such as company logos).
