HomeTech Advantage allows you to rearrange the order of your estimate line items within a particular Division. Since the order of line items on the screen will also be the order of line items in your print reports, you may want to use this feature to make your estimates easier to read. Simply changing the line item of a number allows you to move that item anywhere within a Division. Follow the directions below.

1. Choose the estimate line item that you want to move within the Estimate Grid.

2. Select the “Line” cell which contains the line number for the line item you have selected. To select a cell, either DOUBLE-CLICK on the cell, or SINGLE-CLICK on the cell to select AND press SPACE on your keyboard.

3. Enter the “Line” number in the cell. “Line” numbers can be any whole number between 1 and 99999.

4. Press ENTER to accept and exit the cell. The line item will now be placed in the correct order within that Division.
